Co-create a Great Relationship

COUPLES THERAPY

In couple's therapy, the relationship is the client. I often hear people complain that they got "ambushed" in couple's therapy and that the therapist took sides with a clear bias. My approach is different; I first assess how committed to the relationship each party is. Then, I keep the therapeutic focus on how to strengthen the relationship, ensuring that each person feels heard, honored and supported in making the behavioral adjustments that a fulfilling and happy union can require.
